Job Summary:
The Wildlife Disease Specialist will play a critical role in the field of wildlife conservation, focusing on the identification, prevention, and management of diseases affecting wildlife populations. Responsibilities:

3. Conduct post-mortem examinations and laboratory analyses to identify causes of morbidity and mortality in wildlife species.
4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement disease control measures, such as vaccination programs, habitat management, and population monitoring.
5. Provide expert guidance and recommendations to wildlife managers and conservation organizations on disease prevention, control, and management.
6. Stay updated on current research and advancements in wildlife disease diagnostics, monitoring, and management techniques.

Qualifications:
1. A minimum of a Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine, Wildlife Biology, or a related field. A Ph.D. is preferred.
2. Proven experience in wildlife disease research, diagnostics, and management.
3. Strong knowledge of wildlife ecology, epidemiology, and disease dynamics.
4. Proficiency in conducting post-mortem examinations and laboratory analyses.
5. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement disease surveillance programs.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific information effectively.
7. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
